I'm the father of three sons who age me prematurely while keeping me young at heart. I've spent most of my professional and volunteer endeavours working on behalf of children. Professionally, I'm a Development Psychologist who works with the foster parents of high-needs youth. My volunteer efforts have included coaching youth, boy scout leader, and youth sports administrator.

I am passionate about motorcycle touring. Among my many trips I have gone to both Mexico and Alaska, and I currently ride a Suzuki Intruder 1400.
