Beat the Record

Beat Cancer

A Noble Quest Targets Kids Cancer

On may first we, (Sean, Ryan, Rob and Justin Noble) are boarding a plane to meet our bikes in Ushuaia, Argentina. There we will embark on the journey of a lifetime. We will effectively traverse the whole of the entire western hemispher on our way to Deadhorse, Alaska. We have done lots of research while planning all the aspects of this journey from shipping the bikes to travelling through each of the countires and borders to all the equipment we will need for the bikes. Most of our research has been online trying to get the most up to date information. There are many very helpful forums out there and several sites that have lots of information. Some of our most heavily searched are Horizons Unlimited, Stromtrooper, and many others.

Horizons Unlimited, the website by and for the motorcycle traveller. Bulletin Board, Community, free Monthly E-zine, Travellers' Stories, and plenty of tips and info! A great site for planning any motorcycle adventure!

In September 2003, Kevin and Julia Sanders broke the Guinness record for the Trans-America motorcycle ride. We hope to break that record. In doing so we hope to bring awareness and inspire people to donate to the Kids Cancer Care Foundation.

Below is a map highlighting each night's stopping point. You can view a much more detailed version if you download Google Earth and then our route. We intend to leave Ushuaia on the 6th of May, presuming all things go well with shipping, customs and bike setup. Our goal is to be driving through Red Deer on June 2nd where we have planned a large "Noble Fest" that will include live bands, bike shows, a beer tent and lots of food.

This map is the rough path that we will be following. Each night we will upload our GPS track so that you can follow along with us.
